5.0Best TV on the market!
I don’t care what anyone says, I watch the news all the time and play games and like the other guy said as long as your settings are set like they are supposed to be you will NOT get burn in!!! I have owned 2 OLED TVs for 2 years now and they get left on for hours or even longer on news channels all the time and I’ve never had trouble! This technology is hands down the most incredible most beautiful technology on the market and I can’t understand why any person would EVER buy ANYTHING except OLED???!?! Nothing compares or even comes close. And if your going to buy a TV for 2k or 3k or 5k or more than be smart and buy GEEK SQUAD 5 year protection plan because it basically covers everything and literally 4.5 years down the road something happens even BURN IN you can get your tv replaced with a BRAND NEW tv whatever is the new current tv at that time you get to spend whatever you originally spent AND you can buy ANY TV so that means you can even upgrade or downgrade if you want too!!!!! Only downside to it is you have to repurchase GEEK SQUAD each time you replace your tv under the 5 year warranty. But seriously to anyone who wants to get the most for their money and own the most beautiful television hands down purchase LG OLED I PROMISE YOU IT IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

Best TV on the market
So after reading some of the other reviews, I decided to chime in to help balance this out a little. I do not current own the W7 I own the E6 model. In terms of actual display technology they’re nearly identical so I feel perfectly ok leaving this review here. Yes, OLED panels are susceptible to burn in and image retention. Just how plasma displays were. But some of these other reviews are very misleading. I’ve owned the 65” E6 since it released in 2016 and to this point, 1-14-18 I have absolutely NO burn in on my display. I play video games for several hours a day, watch news and other tv programs including sports where channel logos and score boxes are in 1 place during the entire broadcast and still have NO burn in issues. LG panels come with software built in to reset all the pixels overtime. Also if you’re purchasing this TV or any TV with a new panel technology such as OLED and you aren’t getting an extended warranty you’re taking an unnecessary risk. The optional Geek Squad protection plan covers burn in. IMO the only way to have such severe image retention as being described by other reviewers is to have the Clear panel noise and screen shift feature disabled which right there is just asking for trouble. As well as having the brightness at a very high level and leaving the news on for days at a time. Normal TV viewing with properly calibrated settings will NOT create severe burn in on these panels. IMO and Experience.

It will burn in badly, just watching news
My OLED started showing burn in after couple months. I did not play console games or any of that, it was just from watching news! LG will not repair or replace. Spent over 4k on tv that got ruined by ... well watching TV. I don't care how deep the blacks are, OLED is junk

So apparently Best Buy remove my first comment.
This is a warning, all LG OLED TV are prone to permanent image retention and will eventually result with image burn-in. This will happen if you watch shows with static images like News and Sports. I watch a lot of News and now there is permanent burn in image of BREAKING NEWS accross the screen as well the the Network LOGO. Here is the warning: LG Warranty DOES NOT COVER image burn in and they said they know about this problem and that is why they do not cover it, and this directly from the VIP service.
